Having recently bleached my eyebrows, I wanted to continue to experiment with my appearance and the effect that my appearance has on the outcome of the photos. I used pink mascara on my eyebrows which paired well with the pink dress I wore. I layered a red turtleneck under the dress as the pink and red clash and created a very warm tone to the image which I enhanced by using a very warm edit making it almost uncomfortably warm. These warm tones bring out the striking blue in the eyes which I framed with bold white eyelashes.

 

This shoot explores alienation through bizarre styling and unsettling posing. I tried to create depth by having my head very close to the lens and having a focus on my eyes. I brought my arms up from behind to rest them on my head to give the impression that someone else was grabbing me. This distance alienates my arms from my own body.
