Whenever I try a new makeup look, I take a picture. This means I have many pictures of my eyes. I thought it could be interesting to create a grid collage to give the sense of being watched as well as documenting the changes I can make to myself through make up alone. 

 

I went on to layer an image of my eye with COVID posters on the London Underground to give a big brother effect. When you are younger you are watched under the careful eye of your parents and as you grow older you realise everyone is watching you and scrutinising, particularly in an age of social media where we offer ourselves up for judgement.
